The NCHS Updates Statistics on Hip Replacement Surgeries

The National Hospital Discharge Survey (NCHS) offers reports on information acquired by doctors all across the nation, including those who perform hip replacement surgeries.  Some of the information includes the total number of hip replacements performed in patients aged forty-five and older, as well as whether or not this number seems to be rising in rate when compared to population.  Additionally, studies also show that the average length of hospitalization post hip replacement surgery appears to be decreasing.
